Ingredients

  • 1 ½ tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme leaves or dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper
  • 12 ounces shallots (3/4 to 1 in. wide), peeled
  • Crisp Potato Galettes
  • 1 ½ pounds sweet potatoes (1 1/2 to 2 in. wide)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • About ½ cup milk
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • ¾ cup fresh chèvre (goat cheese)
