Swirled Mashed-Potato Bake
Ingredients
- 2 ½ pounds Yukon gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 ½ cups milk, divided
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
- 1 (8-ounce) package light cream cheese, divided
- 2 ½ pounds sweet potatoes, peeled and cubed
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- + 3 more ingredients

- 1 ½ teaspoons salt, divided
Bring Yukon gold potato and water to cover to a boil in a large Dutch oven. Reduce heat, and cook 20 minutes or until tender; drain.
