Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon(s) cornstarch
  • ½ cup(s) juice from tomatoes
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon(s) A-1 steak sauce
  • 1 can(s) tomatoes, drained and chopped (reserve juice)
  • green pepper
  • ½ pound(s) mushrooms
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 package(s) Onion Soup Mix
    • 2 pound(s) steak, cut 1 inch thick
    • ½ tablespoon(s) margarine

Place meat on a Teflon cookie sheet. Cover with onion soup mix, mushrooms, salt, pepper, green peppers and tomatoes. Mix juice, A-1 sauce and cornstarch. Pour over meat and vegetables. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 2 hours in a 375° oven. Makes 4 servings.
