Swiss Steak 25


  • ¼ cup(s) canola oil
  • 1 can(s) Rotel tomatoes
  • 1 can(s) stewed tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon(s) pepper
  • 1 Round Steak, trimmed and cut into medium pieces
  • ½ teaspoon(s) flour
  • 2 cup(s) flour

Salt and pepper meat. Dredge lightly in flour. Brown both sides quickly in oil. Remove meat. Discard oil. Replace meat in skillet. Cover with tomatoes. Simmer, covered, over low heat for about 30 minutes or until tender (or put in covered casserole dish and bake 40 minutes at 400°).
