  • 2 onions, chopped (medium)
  • ¼ cup(s) water
  • 2 pound(s) round steak, 1 inch thick, cut into desired pieces
  • 2 tablespoon(s) cooking oil

Mix flour, salt, and pepper. Dredge meat in mixture. Pound into both sides of meat with sharp-edged meat pounder. Heat oil in large heavy frypan. Brown meat slowly about 10 minutes on each side.
