  • 1 cup(s) Sugar
  • 3 cup(s) flour
  • 1 cup(s) boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon(s) baking soda

    • 1 cup(s) Ribbon Cane syrup
    • 1 cup(s) oleo

Mix syrup, sugar, allspice, soda, oleo, eggs and vanilla. Add boiling water. Add flour gradually, stirring well. Bake in loaf pan at 350°F. You can also add pecans, walnuts or raisins.
