Syrup Sponge Pudding

Ingredients

  • ½ cup margarine
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 3/8 cups self-rising flour
  • 4 tablespoons golden syrup
