  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 ½ cups quartered strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • Lemon zest (optional)
