Tea Cakes I

Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup shortening
  • 1 ½ cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). 2. Mix shortening and sugar well. Add eggs. Mix dry ingredients together and add to shortening mixture until dough is stiff and doesn't seem sticky (you may not need to add all of the flour). 3. Roll out on a floured board. Cut into shapes. Deco...
