Tender and Spicy Molasses Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoonsoil (I like organic canola for it's omega 3 and or or olive oil)
  • ½ cupblackstrap molasses
  • 1/8 teaspoonblack pepper (cracked or coarsely ground)
  • 1/8 teaspooncardamom (ground seeds)
  • ¼ teaspoonclove (ground)
  • ¼ teaspoonnutmeg (ground)
  • ½ teaspoonallspice (ground)
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 1 ¼ teaspoonscinnamon (ground)
    • 1 ¼ teaspoonsginger (ground)
    • ¼ teaspoonsalt (I use sea salt)
    • ¾ teaspoonbaking soda
    • 1 ¾ cupswhole wheat flour (I use bread flour)
    • ½ cupraisins
    • 1/3 cupwater
