  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 ½ tbsp ginger
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ cup shortening
  • ¼ cup butter

    • FOR THE ROYAL ICING
    • 1 large egg white
