The Best Green Beans


  • 1 (8 ounce) can green beans (your choice)
  • 2 -3 slices of uncooked bacon (I like apple wood the best)
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder

1 Finely chop bacon slices. Toss into 2 qt pot. Brown. 2 Add green beans, sugar, & onion powder. Salt & pepper to taste. 3 Cover & cook up to 1hr on low heat. I recommend at least 30min. You want the beans to look a little withered.
