Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups dark corn syrup
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 4 tablespoons water
  • 6 large eggs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter

    • 1 1/3 cups all purpose flour
    • 3 cups pecans
    • Lightly sweetened whipped cream

Blend flour and salt in processor 10 seconds. Add butter; cut in using on/off turns until mixture resembles coarse meal.
