triple chocolate mousse cake recipe by Crunchy Creamy Sweet

Ingredients

  • 1st layer:
  • 6 Tbsp butter, cubed
  • 7 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
  • ¾ tsp espresso powder
  • 1 ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • + 13 more ingredients
    • 1/3 c packed brown sugar ( I used dark )
    • 2nd layer:
    • 2 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 5 Tbsp hot water
    • 7 oz. semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
    • 1 and ½ c cold heavy whipping cream
    • 1 Tbsp granulated sugar
    • 1/8 tsp salt
    • 3rd layer:
    • ¾ tsp powdered gelatin
    • 1 Tbsp water
    • 6 oz. white chocolate, chopped
    • 1 and ½ c cold heavy whipping cream

First layer: Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F. Butter a 9" round springform pan. Set aside. Separate egg yolks and whites. Set aside.
