Ingredients

• 1 teaspoon ground ginger
• ½ teaspoon salt
• 1 egg
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
• ²/₃ cup vegetable oil
• 1 ¼ cups sugar, divided
