Tuna with Tomato-Basil Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 large onion
  • ¼ cup fresh Italian parsley
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 6-ounce tuna steaks
  • ¼ cup celery
  • Fresh basil sprigs
  • 1 bay leaf
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 cup fresh basil
    • 1 garlic clove
    • 1 ½ pounds ripe plum tomatoes

Heat 1 tablespoon oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, celery, parsley and garlic. Sauté until onion is tender but not brown, about 10 minutes. Add tomatoes and bay leaf.
