Tuscan-Style Tuna with White Beans
Ingredients
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
- 2 (6 oz.) cans tuna in olive oil, drained
- 2 (15.5 oz.) cans white kidney beans (cannellini)
- ½ teaspoon dried sage
- Freshly ground white pepper
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Combine oil, onion and garlic in a heavy medium-size saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, until mixture is fragrant and golden, about 4 to 5 minutes.
