Ultimate Vanilla Pound Cake

Ingredients

• 2 sticks (1/2 lb.) unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 ½ cups sugar
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 5 large eggs, at room temperature
• 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
• ¾ teaspoon salt
