Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose baking mix
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract, divided
  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons brandy
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar, divided
  • ½ cup chopped pecans

    • ½ cup sour cream
    • 2 large Granny Smith apples, peeled and cut into 1/2-inch-thick slices
