Ingredients

  • Standard Bundt pan (10-inch-diameter Bundt pan with 3¾-inch-high sides)
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 ½ pounds strawberries, hulled, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 teaspoons (or more) whole milk
  • 2/3 cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup buttermilk

    • 2 large eggs
    • ¼ cup (packed) golden brown sugar
    • ¾ cup sugar
    • ½ cup plus 6 tablespoons unsalted butter (1 ¾ sticks), room temperature

    • 1 ½ cups all purpose flour
    • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
    • 1 teaspoon bourbon
