Vanilla Cream-Filled Brioche

Ingredients

  • 2 ¾ cups King Arthur Unbleached All-Purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Baker's Special Dry Milk or nonfat dry milk

  • 1 tablespoon instant yeast

    • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract or vanilla bean crush
    • ¼ cup (4 tablespoons) butter
    • ½ cup heavy cream, whipped to soft peaks
    • 1 large egg white lightly beaten with 1 tablespoon cold water
    • coarse white sparkling sugar or Swedish pearl sugar
