  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla
  • ¾ cup(s) all-purpose flour or 3 tablespoon cornstarch
  • ¼ teaspoon(s) salt
  • 2 cup(s) milk
  • 3 slightly beaten egg yolks
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter
  • 1 baked pie shell (9 inch )

In saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt. Gradually stir in milk, cook and stir over medium heat till mixture thickens and boils. Cook 2 minutes longer. Remove from heat.
