Ingredients

  • 1 cup (1/4-inch) pieces cauliflower
  • ¾ cup (1/4-inch) diced peeled sweet potato
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 large egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons Madras curry powder
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 3 ounces all-purpose flour (about 2/3 cup)
    • 6 tablespoons mango chutney
    • 3 tablespoons peanut oil, divided
    • ½ jalapeño pepper, finely diced
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • ½ cup finely diced onion
    • 1/3 cup water

1. Weigh or lightly spoon flour into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flour, curry powder, cumin, and salt, stirring with a whisk. Combine 1/3 cup water and egg, stirring with a whisk.
