Warm Spinach Salad with Red Onions and Nectarines

Ingredients

  • ½ cup diced smoked ham, optional
  • ½ teaspoon sugar
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 nectarines, halved, pitted, each cut into 8 wedges
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • ¼ cup sliced almonds
  • 3 tablespoons cider vinegar
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 6 ounces goat cheese, crumbled
    • 2 medium red onions, peeled and thinly sliced
    • 10 ounce baby spinach
