Ingredients

  • 4 large garlic cloves
  • 13 teaspoons olive oil
  • 4 large navel oranges
  • 2 ½ tablespoons fresh cilantro
  • ¾ teaspoon aniseed
  • 2 large avocados
  • 5 green onions
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • 3 large bunches watercress (about 10 cups)
    • 2 1/2-inch-thick red onion slices
    • ¼ cup pomegranate juice
    • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
    • 5 cups red cabbage
    • 1 tablespoon pomegranate molasses
    • 1 tablespoon serrano chiles

Preheat broiler. Place garlic cloves on small baking sheet; broil until golden brown, about 2 1/2 minutes per side. Heat 1 teaspoon oil in heavy small skillet over medium heat.
