Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 8 slices day-old bread
  • 1 tablespoon white sugar
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ½ cups milk

1. In a large bowl, combine milk, egg, cinnamon and sugar. Soak bread in the egg mixture. 2. Heat a lightly oiled griddle or frying pan over medium high heat. Cook until bread slices are golden brown on both sides. Sprinkle with brown sugar and serve hot.
