Wheat Biscuit Shortbread

Ingredients

• 1 ¼ cups unbleached all-purpose flour
• 1 cup white whole-wheat flour
• 16 tablespoons unsalted butter
• ²/₃ cup granulated sugar
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ½ teaspoon fine salt
• 8 ounces chocolate
