  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ¼ cups whole milk
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons baking powder

    • 2 cups powdered sugar
    • 4 large eggs
    • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
    • ½ cup water
    • 1 1/3 cups sugar
    • 30 tablespoons unsalted butter
    • ¼ cup apricot preserves
    • 1 cup walnuts
    • ¼ cup sugar
