White Radish Boats with Tapenade

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Kalamata oives or other brine-cured black olives
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 25 white icicle radishes
  • 6 flat anchovy fillets
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 slices homemade-type white bread
  • + 4 more ingredients
    • large eggs
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 1 small garlic clove
    • 1 teaspoon Dijon-style mustard

In a small bowl let the anchovy fillets soak in 2 tablespoons of the milk for 10 minutes, drain them, and pat them dry.
