Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour (about 4 3/4 ounces)
  • 5 tablespoons water
  • Sauce:
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
  • 2 tablespoons extravirgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon plus 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • + 9 more ingredients
    • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
    • Pasta:
    • 6 quarts water
    • 2 garlic cloves, minced
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour (about 4 1/2 ounces)
    • 2 tablespoons olive oil
    • 3 tablespoons drained capers
    • ½ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
    • 5 cups quartered cherry tomatoes

1. To prepare pasta, lightly spoon flours into dry measuring cups; level with a knife. Combine flours and 1/4 teaspoon salt in a food processor; process 30 seconds.
