Wild Bay Dressing

Ingredients

  • 6 red bay leaves
  • 1 ¾ cups extra virgin olive oil
  • 15 wax-myrtle leaves
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup red wine vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • ½ teaspoon pepper

Bring vinegar to a boil; add the wax-myrtle and red bay leaves. Simer 15 to 20 minutes or until mixture is reduced by half. Remove from heat and cool.
