Wild Rice Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup butter or margarine, melted
  • Garnish: green onion slivers
  • 1 cup cooked wild rice
  • 2 large eggs, separated
  • ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 ¼ cups milk
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 1 tablespoon baking powder
    • 3 green onions, chopped
    • 1/8 teaspoon ground red pepper

Combine first 4 ingredients in a medium bowl; add milk and butter, whisking until blended. Stir in egg yolks until blended.
