Wild Rice with Dried Cranberries & Hazelnuts

  • ¼ cup thinly sliced scallions (white part only)
  • ¼ cup hazelnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup wild rice, rinsed
  • ½ cup dried cranberries, coarsely chopped
  • 1 Tbs. unsalted butter
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • Juice of ½ orange (about 3-½ Tbs.)
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 2 Tbs. finely grated orange zest
    • ¼ tsp. kosher salt

Put the wild rice in a medium saucepan and cover with water by about an inch. Bring the water to a boil.
