Ingredients

  • salt
  • 6 cups fresh basil leaves
  • 4 tablespoons pine nuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 12 plum tomatoes
  • 8 large bocconcini (from buffalo mozzarella)
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 6 tablespoons freshly grated Parmigiano-Reggiano
    • 1 ½ cups extra-virgin olive oil
    • plus a few basil leaves for garnish

1. Preheat the oven to 200°F. 2. In a large bowl, toss the tomatoes with 1/2 cup of the olive oil and salt and pepper to taste.
