Fish in a Corn Crust


  • 1 cup(s) cornflakes
  • salt
  • lemon, in wedges or thick slices (optional)
  • 2 tablespoon(s) butter , oil or a combination (use more if necessary)
  • ½ cup(s) fine cornmeal
  • 4 large, thin fillets of any firm white fish (cod, haddock etc)
  • 1 egg
