Ingredients

  • Hot sauce, for garnish (optional)
  • Sour cream, for garnish (optional)
  • "Salsa":/recipes/18884-smooth-salsa-verde, for garnish (optional)
  • "Guacamole":/recipes/10647-guacamole, for garnish (optional)
  • Sliced avocado, for garnish (optional)
  • 6 to 8 soft (6-inch) corn tortillas
  • ¼ cup cilantro, coarsely chopped
  • + 10 more ingredients
    • ½ red onion, thinly sliced
    • ½ small head of green or red cabbage (about 14 ounces), cored and thinly sliced
    • Freshly ground black pepper
    • Kosher salt
    • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil, plus more for oiling the grill grates
    • ¼ teaspoon chili powder
    • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
    • 1 garlic clove, minced
    • 2 limes, halved
    • 1 pound firm white fish, such as tilapia, snapper, cod, mahi mahi, or catfish

Place the fish in a baking dish and squeeze a lime half over it. Add the garlic, cumin, chili powder, and 1 tablespoon of the oil.
