Chili-Beef Skewers
Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon Asian fish sauce (also called nam pla or nuoc mam)
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon finely grated orange zest
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon sriracha
- 3 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce

- 8 wooden skewers
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice

- 2 tablespoons fresh basil
- ½ cup lowfat mayonnaise
- Vegetable oil cooking spray
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 pound lean beef sirloin
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- ½ cup fresh cilantro
Soak skewers for 30 minutes. Puree cilantro, garlic, soy sauce, orange zest, sriracha, fish sauce and sugar in a food processor. Transfer marinade to a resealable plastic bag; add beef.
