Ingredients

  • 12 ounces campanelle (trumpet-shaped pasta) or macaroni
  • 1/8 teaspoon saffron threads
  • 2 small heads of butter lettuce
  • 7 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons capers
  • 2 large handfuls of arugula
  • fresh dill sprigs
  • + 12 more ingredients
    • 1 cup celery
    • 6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • ¼ cup green onions
    • 1 tablespoon fresh dill
    • 1 pound cooked medium shrimp
    • ½ pound Dungeness crabmeat
    • ½ cup sour cream
    • fresh tarragon sprigs
    • 2 tablespoons fresh tarragon
    • Lemon wedges
    • ½ cup mayonnaise

Cook pasta in large pot of boiling salted water until tender but still firm to bite, stirring occasionally. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup cooking liquid.
