Spicy Herb-Grilled Salmon Steaks

Ingredients

  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon steaks (about 1 inch thick)
  • 4 lime wedges
  • 3 tablespoons minced seeded jalapeno pepper
  • 2 teaspoons fish sauce
  • Cooking spray
  • 1/3 cup mint leaves
  • 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
  • + 7 more ingredients
    • ¼ cup finely chopped fresh basil
    • ½ cup basil leaves
    • 1 teaspoon sugar
    • 2 garlic cloves, chopped
    • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • 2 ½ teaspoons minced peeled fresh ginger

Prepare grill. Combine the first 8 ingredients in a blender or food processor, and process until smooth. Set aside. Sprinkle salmon steaks with salt and black pepper.
