  • 3 bunches green onions
  • Garnish: fresh dill sprigs
  • 4 (6- to 8-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 6 cups frozen shredded hash browns
  • ½ to 3/4 teaspoon salt
