Ingredients

  • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Coarsely ground black pepper (optional)
  • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skinned
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • + 14 more ingredients
    • ½ small onion, peeled and quartered
    • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
    • 1/8 teaspoon salt
    • 1 cup organic vegetable broth (such as Swanson Certified Organic)
    • ¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
    • Cooking spray
    • ¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
    • Coarsely ground black pepper (optional)
    • 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, skinned
    • 1 pound plum tomatoes, quartered
    • ¼ teaspoon salt
    • ¼ cup thinly sliced fresh basil
    • Cooking spray
    • 2 tablespoons tomato paste

Preheat broiler.Arrange tomatoes, onion, and garlic in an even layer on a jelly-roll pan coated with cooking spray. Sprinkle with 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper. Broil 8 minutes; stir gently.
