Empanada Barcelona

Ingredients

  • ½ cup craisins
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ½ pound butter
  • ½ pound craisins
  • 1 quart port wine
  • Olive oil
  • ¼ cup toasted pine nuts
  • + 6 more ingredients
    • 2 peeled shallots, chopped
    • 3 pounds spinach
    • 2 egg whites
    • Lemon juice
    • 1 cup whipping cream
    • ½ pound salmon fillet

1. Blend all ingredients together. 2. Saute spinach, shallots, pine nuts and craisins in olive oil at high temperature for a short period of time. Take off heat, set aside to cool. 3. Combine wine craisins and butter. Reduce to a syrupy sauce.
