Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 6 (6-ounce) salmon fillets, about 1 inch thick
  • 1 (3-inch) cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 (10-ounce) bottle mango nectar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

Stir together first 6 ingredients in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat, and simmer, uncovered, 25 minutes or until reduced to 3/4 cup.
