Spiced Salmon with Yellow Peppers

  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1 small yellow bell pepper, cored, seeded, and cut into ¼-inch strips
  • ¾ lb. salmon fillet (skin on), cut into two pieces
  • ¼ cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tsp. minced garlic
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • ½ tsp. ground cumin
    • 1-½ Tbs. olive oil

In a small bowl, combine the garlic, oregano, paprika, cumin, 1/2 tsp. salt, and a couple of grinds of pepper. Spoon out a heaping 1/2 tsp. of this spice mix and set aside.
