Spicy Salmon with Tomatoes and Star Anise


  • 4 6-ounce wild salmon fillets with skin
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • ½ teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil (such as Asian)
  • 1 ½ tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup red onion
  • 2 teaspoons fresh ginger
  • + 2 more ingredients
    • 4 plum tomatoes
    • ¾ teaspoon freshly ground star anise
