Baked Shrimp in Chipotle Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ teaspoons salt
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 teaspoons adobo sauce
  • ¼ cup dry red wine
  • 1 ½ tablespoons Worcestershire sauce

  • 1 ½ pounds medium shrimp in shell
  • + 3 more ingredients
    • 2 canned chipotle chiles in adobo
    • 1 2- to 3-qt ceramic or glass shallow baking dish
    • 1 large garlic clove

Put oven rack in middle position and preheat oven to 400°F. Melt butter in a saucepan and stir in wine, Worcestershire sauce, chipotles with adobo sauce (to taste), garlic, and salt.
