Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 5 cups iceberg lettuce
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • ¼ cup fresh lemon juice
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 large egg whites
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • + 13 more ingredients
    • 30 uncooked large shrimp, peeled, deveined, tails left intact
    • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
    • 1 teaspoon paprika
    • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
    • ½ teaspoon hot pepper sauce
    • ¼ cup canned low-salt chicken broth
    • ½ teaspoon salt
    • Fresh mint leaves
    • 2 tablespoons sugar
    • ½ cup fresh grapefruit juice
    • 1 cup fresh tangerine juice or orange juice
    • 3 tablespoons light corn syrup
    • ¾ cup sesame seeds

Bring all ingredients to boil in medium saucepan. Boil until slightly syrupy and reduced to 1 cup, about 12 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Remove from heat. (Can be made 1 day ahead.
