Fried Shrimp 2


  • 2 pound(s) raw, peeled shrimp
  • 1 cup(s) Plain Flour
  • 1 teaspoon(s) Salt
  • 1 tablespoon(s) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon(s) vegetable oil
  • Ice Water
  • Vegetable oil for frying
  • + 1 more ingredients
    • 1 egg, beaten

Rinse off shrimp and pat dry. Mix other ingredients, adding enough ice water to make a thick batter consistency. Add shrimp to batter and leave in the refrigerator a few hours or overnight. Heat oil and drop battered shrimp into hot oil. Fry until lightly browned.
