• 1 cup(s) fine dry crumbs
  • crisco for deep frying
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup(s) milk
  • 1 ½ pound(s) fresh shrimp

Peel shell from shrimp, leaving last section and tail intact. With the point of a sharp knife remove dark vein. Dip shrimp in milk, crumbs, egg and again in crumbs. Fry until well browned in deep Crisco heated to 365°, about 2 minutes drain on absorbent paper.
