Madras Shrimp Molahu Veritadu Curry in Black Pepper Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons black peppercorns, crushed
- 1 ½ tablespoons ground coriander seeds
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- ¼ cup finely chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 ½ pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- ¾ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste

- 1 ½ tablespoons grated peeled fresh ginger
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- ½ cup fat-free, less-sodium chicken broth
